Frequently asked questions

Your questions answered. Dive into our FAQs to learn more about how you can get involved, receive help, or support our mission.

To receive help and access the supplies you need, please connect with one of our dedicated partner agencies. Loving Bottoms Diaper Bank collaborates closely with a network of community organizations to distribute diapers and period supplies directly to families. By visiting our “Find Help” page, you can locate a partner agency near you. Our partners are equipped to understand your individual needs and provide the necessary support. Remember, you’re not alone in this; we’re here to guide you to the resources and assistance you need.

Absolutely! We understand that children grow quickly, and you may have leftover diapers that no longer fit. Loving Bottoms Diaper Bank gladly accepts donations of open packages of diapers. For hygiene products, while we cannot accept opened packages of wipes, we do welcome donations of pads and tampons as long as they are individually wrapped, even if it’s not a full box. This policy allows us to provide for the diverse needs of the families we serve while ensuring the products we distribute maintain the highest standard of cleanliness and safety. For more details on our donation guidelines, please visit our [Donation Guidelines Page] or reach out to us directly. Your contributions make a significant difference in the lives of those we support.

At the moment, we are not expanding our network of partner agencies due to the high demand exceeding our current capacity to supply. We are committed to serving our community as effectively as possible and must ensure our resources can fully support our existing partners. However, we truly value the interest of organizations looking to join our mission. Please keep an eye on our website and follow us on social media for updates. When we are ready to welcome new partners, we will share this exciting news there. Thank you for understanding and for your willingness to support families in need.

For press-related inquiries, please reach out directly to our Founder & Executive Director, Lee Ann Porter. She’s ready to share insights, stories, and the impact of our work at Loving Bottoms Diaper Bank. Lee Ann is deeply involved in all aspects of our mission and can provide the most current and comprehensive information. You can contact her via email or call (309) 297-4754. Thank you for your interest in spreading the word about our efforts to combat diaper need and period poverty. Your support helps us reach more families in need.
